Not the typical Break video but I thought this was an interesting clip explaining how a $20 component may of been the cause to why the blow out preventer failed and allowed millions of gallons of oil to spill into the Gulf of Mexico.

Just out of curiosity, at what point does some blame fall on the US government for this? 300 pages of regulations were allotted for deep water drilling. Were they not enforced or are they just that incompetent?
